SFBURNISH means S.F.R.C+BURNISH finish, where high-strength Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete (S.F.R.C) is used to substitute the steel placement; and a laser screed (which is driven by an on-board operator) which is automatically controlled by a laser system to increase flatness is used to align the concrete surface, and the floor is finished with high-load finisher equipment.

Concrete is widely used as a construction material with high economy, workability and compressive strength. It, however, has low tensile and bending strength; fractures suddenly under tensile and dynamic loading; and cannot suppress the generation and growth of crack. Therefore, concrete has many weak points to be used in building large-scale and high-rising buildings of today.
The material which includes steel fiber uniformly placed in concrete matrix to increase vibration earthquake resistance, impact resistance and crack resistance is called S.F.R.C (Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete). S.F.R.C has been widely used in foreign countries since 1970's.
It was used even before 1970, but the steel fiber at that time was an individually structured fiber with various problems such as fiber balling, uneven distribution and low residual resistance, so it was rarely applied then. BEKAERT, a Belgian company developed Dramix of a double hook and bundle type to solve such problems, and it became widely accepted.

Burnish finishing is the method to produce floor finish of high surface strength through application to concrete floor plastering surface considering the temperature, humidity and ambient air according to a check sheet; so mirror-like surface is created via repeated power troweling work. It is mainly used for the industrial floor which requires high abrasion resistance.
Burnish troweling method is accomplished through repeated work with finisher equipment. The troweling repeated several times increases the density of floor surface, thereby reinforcing the concrete finish surface and increasing abrasion resistance.
Repetition is done adjusting blade angle at a given angle and controlling rotation speed while checking the floor surface so that the floor surface is almost burned. I
f the method is applied in a wrong way, however, it may cause material segregation between the reinforced surface layer and concrete structure. So, it is essential to have the technology to apply the method accurately according to the standard and specifications.
